Antonette Redl’s Bio
I was first introduced to Yoga while attaining my degree in Graphic Design at Montclair State University. I began my studies at Centenary College studying for a B.F.A in Fine Arts. That is where I fell in love with Anatomy and life drawing. I continue my studies in Anatomy as a “hobby” and creatively sequence my classes and private sessions with attention to detail in alignment with keen awareness of each students needs. I attribute my eclectic style to the wonderful teachers that she has studied with over the years. As a teacher and forever-student, I humbly share my passion of various traditions. I infuse my love of anatomy with various styles: Iyengar, Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini, Viniyoga, restorative, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Therapy.
I specialize in Yoga mechanics which is an integration of mind, body and spirit to heal the whole person with the tools of Yoga. I have helped clients manage stress, depression, anxiety and musculoskeletal issues like lower and upper back, neck, sciatica, shoulder, and hip. I also help clients in wellness coaching by giving them the tools and motivation in making health choices geared individually.
I bring all these lessons enriched in spirituality into my teachings. My sessions are geared towards recognizing everyone’s individuality: anatomically and spiritually.
